Pay Range: $25.50 per hour
Position: Logistics Crew Leader – 1st shift (Early Morning)
Hours: 3:00am – shift end (hours may vary)
Entry Rate of Pay: $23.00/hour + $2.50/hour early shift premium = $25.50/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Team Leader in leading and supervising the material handling crew to ensure efficient/safe operations and workflows
- Oversee and distribute workload among Material Handlers to ensure efficient and precise completion of key duties, including on-time truck loading, order fulfillment, and paperwork processing
- Follow all GMP, Product Safety and OSHA policies and ensure practices are followed by all team members
- Perform truck loading and unloading operations and ensure materials are received and processed correctly (including coolers and freezers)
- Utilize the computer system to access inventory data and print part number ID labels
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork and Bills of Lading
- Train new staff on material handling processes and safety measures
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operations
- Lead pre-shift huddle, including stretches and exercises
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal condition
Additional Tasks:
- Assist in locating and selecting products based on accurate product codes and specified quantities for order fulfillment
- Assist in moving finished good pallets from the automated wrapper delivered to the freezer or loading dock
- Assist in staging raw materials for Manufacturing teams
- Assist in performing cycle counts as needed in storage areas
- Assist in practices to assure accurate product rotation and allergen storage
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications/ Education/ Skills
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- 3+ years of forklift experience
- Forklift certified or ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable learning and adapting to new computer systems and software.
- Demonstrated competency with math concepts needed for daily warehouse tasks

- Ability to read and write English.
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others.
- Good organizational skills and detailed oriented.
