The Job You Will Perform:
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
Possess the ability to feed two case erector machines to keep up with production demands.
Keep glue levels in operating order to ensure no machine downtime.
Successfully complete necessary shift paperwork such as filling out load tags, unit tags, and other work orders.
Separate out dunnage sheets and bundle straps as needed.
Ability to correctly stack pallets of boxes as per customer requirements.
Possess the knowledge of proper stacking patterns as per customer requirements.
Efficiently transition between stacking pallets to keep up with production demands.
Finalize pallets with proper paperwork such as completing load tags, PQV forms, tally, and waste sheets.
Assist in quality repairs when feeding and stacking.
Successfully able to stack all box sizes neatly and correctly without assistance and minimal tip overs.
General awareness to communicate quality related issues.
Clear minor machine jam ups due to machine malfunctions.
Efficiently unload foam trailers as needed.
The Skills You Will Bring:
Ability to read and interpret written documents i.e. safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, tacitly orders, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure (Standard and Metric), using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to read a standard and metric tape measure.
