Job Summary

The incumbent of this position has responsibility to provide janitorial services  and general cleaning  ofFH1360 PNG CO and other assigned  administrative  support  under the supervision  of Administration   Officer.  Under the overall direction  and guidance  of FHI360 PNG Country  Director,  her reporting  responsibilities will be as follows:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for cleaning all Areas (interior  as well as external)  ofFH1360  PNG Country  Office
  • Cleaning  all windows and blinds
  • Floor washing, dusting  of office furniture and file racks, files, books  etc.
  • Removing cobwebs and cleaning walls, where and when needed.
  • Cleaning, mopping  and sweeping all washrooms and office floors on regular basis.
  • Cleaning all tube lights and bulbs or any other fittings  and furniture fixed in FHI360  CO.
  • Ensure minimum level of drinking water bottles  is available at all times  office.
  • Responsible for making  and serving tea to the visitors/staff  and prepare  in absence of receptionist.
  • Cleaning of ICT equipment like printers, photocopiers, shredders
  • Assist with shredding documents and old files
  • Keeping stock of all kitchen and janitorial items and advising receptionist when stock needs replenishment
  • Cleaning of conference rooms and ensure its aired out and prepared for meetings and in house trainings
  • Manning the front desk from time to time when receptionist steps out for lunch or is not at work
  • Any other office related duties from time to time or as requested.

KNOWLEDGE,   SKILLS  AND ABILITIES:

Minimum  knowledge  of office Janitor/cleaning.

MINIMUM  RECRUITMENT   STANDARDS:

At least two years of office over all required job experience.

LOCATION  OF EMPLOYMENT:

Port Moresby, National Capital District.

The expected hiring salary range for this role is PGK  15,000 - 20,000 for annual  basic salary. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, market pay,  and budget.
