Job Description
Ameriprise Financial has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Product Owner to join a high-impact agile team focused on enhancing digital profile management, communication preferences, and alert capabilities. In this role, you’ll partner closely with senior product leaders, engineering, and UX to translate customer needs into clear priorities and actionable work that drives measurable outcomes. You’ll help execute key product priorities, monitor performance, and ensure compliance, while identifying opportunities to improve engagement and strengthen the overall client experience.Responsibilities
Partner with a cross-functional agile product team to drive day-to-day execution and deliver against key Profile and Alerts priorities
Collaborate with the Senior Product Owner to maintain insights on personas, user journeys, product metrics, and outcomes while ensuring compliance standards are met
Enhance digital profile management, communication preferences, and alert capabilities to improve engagement, usability, and overall customer satisfaction
Contribute to the development and execution of the digital Profile product strategy, including defining and tracking key performance indicators aligned to business outcomes. Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Work closely with engineering, UX, and cross-functional teams to translate business and customer needs into clear, prioritized user stories and backlog items
Identify opportunities to improve outcomes and deepen customer relationships through ongoing analysis of customer needs, and partner with leadership to evolve product strategy accordingly
Required Qualifications
Strong business analysis and project management skills with a high attention to detail
Experience supporting or partnering with product management on software-based solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and rationale
Solid understanding of digital technologies, platforms, AI capabilities, and best practices
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
1–3+ years of relevant experience in product, digital, or related roles
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an Agile environment, including participation in core ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog refinement)
Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage teams, guide discussions, and help resolve conflicts
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across both technical and business audiences
In-Office Collaboration

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Base Pay Salary
The estimated hourly rate for this role is $32.07- $44.09 / hour. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
