Job Description
Job Purpose
Ensures that ADES Lifting policies and procedures are properly communicated and understood to all concerned employees. Provides professional on-the-job training, coaching, and assessments for the rig crew; reviews and monitors the lifting register of the assigned country to create a risk-free lifting operation for both employees and company assets.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Plan and Governance
- Creates long/mid/short-term plans for regular visits & audits for the company’s different locations to monitor and follow up on implementing the lifting policies and procedures in the fields.
- Provides technical Lifting information and experience (data, techniques, equipment specifications, know-how) to the rig crews.
Performance & Assessment
- Evaluates the unit’s crane operators and lifting teams periodically to monitor their performance.
- Track Lifting performance Program implementation across the assigned country, through regular visits.
- Provide feedback to his superior on the performance of lifting team of each site.
Training & Awareness
- Performs awareness sessions for all lifting teams onboard the assigned country to increase the crew’s knowledge and skills about different lifting operations.
Reporting & Statistics
- Track the percentage of lifting action tracker closure for each site.
- Provide guidance to the rig crews on Lifting process performance reporting.
- Maintains a register for lifting accidents and prepares necessary reports and statistics accordingly.
Incident Investigation
- Acts as an SME in all investigations related to lifting operations and comes with corrective & preventive actions.
Auditing & Inspections
- Monitor the third-party inspection company and develop the due date inspection process for the unit’s lifting equipment. Incident Investigation

Requirement:
- At least 5 years of experience in the drilling field.
- Language Skills: Good reading, writing & speaking English
- Computer Skills: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft package especially in outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint, have the ability to learn & understand ERP systems/experience working on dashboards in preferred.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is a plus.
- Mandatory Qualifications and Certifications: -
- LEEA (Parts 1, 2, 3, 7, or 8)
- Lifting Supervisor Visa
- APOLO Certification
- BSEN – British Standards
- ASME Certification
