Join Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Men's Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Therapist in Orem, Utah! As part of our Men's Outpatient Program, you'll provide evidence-based individual and group therapy in both our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and General Outpatient Program (GOP). Working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll help clients build recovery skills, address co-occurring mental health concerns, and create lasting, positive change. Compensation: $30.26–$44.47 DOE and licensure

What You'll Do as an Outpatient Therapist
- Provide individual and group therapy for men participating in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and General Outpatient (GOP) substance use treatment programs.
- Complete clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress throughout treatment.
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Support clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns through integrated treatment approaches.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with treatment team members, community partners, drug courts, probation, and other referral sources to coordinate client care.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide crisis intervention and support clients in building the skills needed for long-term recovery and wellness.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
- Experience working with substance use disorders preferred.
- Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
- Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
- Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a stipend.
