Job Description

Find your purpose providing nourishment to patients, and fuel to those who care for them by working as a Cook at our Paynesville Hospital. 

Our Cooks prepare food for hospital patients, guests, employees, and catered functions according to standardized recipes and established policies and procedures. Cooks also clean dishes, food prep surfaces and the rest of the kitchen to ensure food safety guidelines are met.

  • Schedule
    • Part-time | 24 hours every two weeks | Paynesville Hospital 
    • Various shifts between 6:00 am – 7:00 pm 
    • Every other weekend & rotating holidays   
       
  • Pay and benefits 
    • Starting pay begins at $19.93 per hour and increases with experience
      • Pay range: $17.00 - $25.54 per hour
    • Earn extra pay for working weekend/holiday shifts

  • Qualifications 
    • High School Diploma or GED 
    • In lieu of post high school training, one year cooking or related experience in our hospital or similar institution, restaurant or catering production will be accepted
    • Food Safety Training accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP) required within 1 ½ years - can be ServSafe or TAP Series
