Process Quality Engineer (For employees Only)
Job Description
INTERNAL PERSONNEL APPLICATION ONLY
▪ Creation of documentation of process area, to guarantee the final quality of the product.
▪ Supervise maintenance and updated documentation through audits to ensure that product specifications are met.
▪ Prepare, administer and update the control plans and Statistical Process Control of the production area.
▪ Supervise and audit release records to ensure that they are up-to-date and comply with the requirements of the control plan.
▪ Audit control plans against process AMEF to verify their agreement.
▪ Issue visual aids and quality alerts to inform about quality findings.
▪ Analyze root causes of defects, support Jidoka activities, create an action plan with a multidisciplinary team and monitor compliance.
▪ Implement production controls to identify faults and avoid problems of final quality.
▪ Coordinate and supervise containment in the production area.
▪ Train the technical staff in the use of Gages and measuring devices. ▪ Control the correct handling of non conforming material.
▪ Coordinate and supervise the activities of quality technicians and safe launch
▪ Attend internal and external audits based on customer requirements,
▪ Ensure calibration for the production line.
▪ Ensure calibration for measurement devices and gages.
▪ Follow up on external and internal customer claims, through A3 reports and establish the corresponding corrective actions.
▪ Lead action plan for scrap in the production line.
▪ Follow the guidelines established in the Quality System, complying with the activities, responsibilities and scope of authority described in the procedures and instructions applicable to its process.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Advanced English.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality or production planning, in an electronic manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Six Sigma certification (Yellow Belt or Green Belt preferred).
- Quality Management certifications (e.g., GD&T, ASQ certifications) are a plus.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and production planning software.
- Strong Knowledge of Core Tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, etc)
- Knowledge of Quality Management System standards (e.g. IATF16949, ISO9001)
- Knowledge of statistical process control and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent project management and data analysis skills.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with supply chain management .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
