26/27 SY Teacher - Career Readiness/Work-Based Learning (1889)

Minimum Qualifications 
1. Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) PK � 12 Level II Teacher with Master's Degree or National Board Certification or Level III license. 
2. Must have five years of successful teaching experience at the secondary level. 
3. Knowledge regarding current common core, common career technical core and technology research and its instructional applications. 
4. Experience delivering professional development/mentoring connections to peers in high yield strategies to support student achievement within the specified content area. 
5. Sophisticated understanding of instructional strategies to include appropriate accommodations, interventions, and modifications. 
6. Evidence of strong oral and written language skills. 
7. Evidence of technology integration skills to assist in creating engaging and differentiated learning experiences. 
8. Evidence of school or district leadership in the content area of career readiness. 
9. Strong evidence of ability to effectively collaborate and problem solve with other educators. 
10. Strong evidence of ability to lead/facilitate teacher and student groups that result in positive student outcomes. 
 

Preferred Qualifications: 
1. Proven experience working with ELL/SPED/low socio- economic populations (preferred).
