Dessinateur

Le candidat aura comme principale responsabilité de réaliser les dessins d’atelier et de production pour les produits de structures de murs-rideaux, tant en bois qu’en aluminium ainsi que des dessins d'unités scellées. Relevant du directeur de l’ingénierie, le candidat travaillera conjointement avec l'équipe technique et d'ingénierie. Il devra apporter son côté pratique et son innovation au niveau des différents projets de conception dont il sera mandaté. Il devra maintenir une structure de documentation technique et de suivi dans le but de fournir une source d'informations fiable et précise pendant et après les différents contrats.

Ce que vous ferez

• Produire des dessins d’atelier et de production pour les produits de structures de murs-rideaux et d'unités scellées;
• Maintenir de bonnes pratiques de gestion des plans et des documents techniques ainsi que la standardisation de la bibliothèque;
• Réaliser et modifier des conceptions et des dessins assistés par ordinateur;
• Fournir un soutien technique aux employés affectés à la production, à la maintenance, aux projets et aux ventes;
• Participer aux rencontres de projets.

Ce qu’il vous faut pour réussir:

• Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français ; excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite
• Formation collégiale en technologie de l’architecture ou diplôme d’étude professionnel en dessin de bâtiment;
• Intérêt pour les produits d’enveloppe du bâtiment à haute efficacité;
• Intérêt pour la réalisation de détails techniques;
• Maîtrise des logiciels AutoCAD (2D), Inventor (3D) (un atout) et Revit (un atout);
• Habiletés techniques à modéliser et dessiner des structures complexes;
• Dynamisme, bon jugement, souci du détail et minutie;
• Bon communicateur et doit aimer le travail en équipe.

Rémunération :

Cette fourchette est fournie par Allegion. Votre rémunération réelle sera basée sur vos compétences et votre expérience.

• Fourchette de salaire de base prévue : $55 000 - $77 800 (le salaire réel sera déterminé en fonction de l’expérience et d’autres facteurs autorisés par la loi)

Drafter

The candidate’s primary responsibility will be to produce shop and production drawings for curtain wall systems—both wood and aluminum—as well as drawings for sealed units. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the candidate will work closely with the technical and engineering teams. He or she will be expected to bring practical expertise and innovation to the various design projects assigned to them. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a technical documentation and tracking system to ensure a reliable and accurate source of information during and after the completion of various contracts.

What You Will Do:

• Produce shop and production drawings for curtain wall structures and sealed units;
• Maintain best practices for managing technical drawings and documents, as well as standardizing the library;
• Create and modify computer-aided designs and drawings;
• Provide technical support to employees in production, maintenance, projects, and sales;
• Participate in project meetings.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Fluency in English and French; excellent oral and written communication skills
• College-level training in architectural technology or a vocational diploma in architectural drafting;
• Interest in high-efficiency building envelope products;
• Interest in creating technical details;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), Inventor (3D) (an asset), and Revit (an asset);
• Technical skills in modeling and drafting complex structures;
• Dynamic, good judgment, attention to detail, and meticulousness;
• Good communicator and must enjoy working in a team.
