We’re currently looking for Welder 4 & Lead Hand to join our Custom Fabrication team in Chilliwack, BC.

The Role:
The Welder 4 & Lead Hand is responsible for production welding of standard and custom products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role includes fabrication from supplied drawings, development of custom jigs and fixtures, and ensuring production parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding of carbon steel using .045 metal core wire
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure product functionality and design intent
- Fit and fabricate custom products and structures
- Monitor fabrication quality and follow processes to report non-conformance
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and escalate as required
- Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and safe work practices
- Support production requirements and complete additional duties as assigned
What You Bring
- AWS Ticketed Welder, ITA Level 2 Welder, or equivalent B Pressure ticket
- 8+ years of welding and fabrication experience
- Minimum 3 years of production GMAW welding experience
- Minimum 2 years of fitting and fabrication experience
- Strong understanding of weld symbols and engineering drawings
- Ability to read, interpret, and sketch technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with basic non-destructive testing considered an asset
- CWB and DNC certifications considered an asset
- Must be eligible to meet Controlled Goods Program requirements
- Forklift certification considered an asset
