Overview MSL Japan is seeking a communications professional with a minimum of 6 years of experience working in the B2B sector, including technology, industrial and/or healthcare industries. While experience in PR, marketing, or advertising is preferred, additional experience across broader communications is considered a significant advantage. Our B2B sector continues to grow rapidly. As brands are transforming their business with digital, they seek to drive thought leadership stories that resonate with their stakeholders. To achieve this, we need to develop creative communication strategies that leverage story-building and media engagement - not only with journalists but also through influencers and social campaigns. Responsibilities Main Responsibilities: Provide high-level consultation and strategic planning to address complex client business challenges, under minimal supervision of Director, or someone equivalent (e.g. account team leader) Develop compelling narratives and lead media engagement with business and trade publication Orchestrate the planning and execution of media-focused events, including press conferences and product launches, to ensure high-impact story-building and media engagement. Drive social and digital communication programs, including influencer marketing and creative content production Manage SAE and AE to ensure operational excellence and team growth Supervise media monitoring, reporting, media database management Liaise with other Publicis Groupe brands (e.g. communication strategy development working with our strategists and planners, influencer activation with our social media team, and content production with our creative and production teams) Qualifications Must-Have Minimum of 6 years of PR or marketing communication experience Work experience at an agency or as an in-house professional Strong Japanese business writing skills Business-level English proficiency Ambitious and highly self-motivated Problem-solving mindset Proactive and self-starter Nice-to-Have Knowledge in digital, including content creation, advertising, social media campaigns Experience in reptation management, corporate communications, or executive messaging
