
Hotel Account Manager, Digital Field Marketing- Turkey
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for strategically executing and managing comprehensive digital marketing solutions across a portfolio of hotels within the Digital Field Marketing team. The Hotel Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned hotels, while also directly overseeing key digital activations and executional elements across channels.
The role combines strategic account management with hands-on digital expertise, ensuring alignment with Marriott’s global strategies, compliance standards, and campaign priorities. The Manager will plan, direct, execute, and optimize activities across multiple digital workstreams, including Marriott.com, performance marketing, CRM, and third-party channels—to support hotel business objectives and maximize online presence and performance.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in an online agency, digital marketing, or client services role
- 2+ years’ experience leading digital strategies and/or project teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, content management systems, and online merchandising
- Fluency in English – spoken and written
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Managing Work, Projects, and Digital Strategy
- Acts as the primary point of contact for hotels, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout program lifecycle
- Develops and presents customized digital business plans aligned with hotel objectives and KPIs
- Leads planning and execution across digital Marriott platforms AND 3rd parties such as Google campaigns, Dark social campaigns, OTAs, Trip Advisor, etc.
- Ensures alignment with global strategies, brand standards, and digital compliance requirements
- Coordinates Area campaign calendar activation where possible (destination marketing, demand generation, loyalty initiatives, partnerships)
Digital Execution and Optimization
- Oversees and directly supports execution of key digital activations including Marriott.com content updates, campaign setup, OTA and third-party alignment, and SEO optimization
- Ensures all hotel digital assets (content, imagery, links, translations) are accurate and optimized for performance
- Works with DOT (Digital Operations Team) particularly for Tier properties and where support is needed for smooth and quick execution of the various tactics and/or to execute campaigns to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance
Program & Stakeholder Management
- Manages timelines, deliverables, and quality across all digital services and campaigns
- Coordinates with internal teams (such as DOT) to ensure timely execution and issue resolution
- Engages regularly with Senior Manager and key stakeholders to align on performance and priorities
- Supports onboarding of new hotels including setup and educating on DFM programme
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Monitors hotel performance against KPIs and business goals
- Develops and delivers monthly reporting with insights across digital channels
- Presents results and recommendations to stakeholders
- Continuously optimizes strategies based on performance insights
Client Satisfaction & Growth
- Builds strong relationships with hotel stakeholders
- Identifies opportunities for additional services and enhancements
- Ensures consistent service delivery and supports retention and re-enrollment
Supporting Operations & Capability Building
- Provides guidance and training (via workshop sessions/ lunch and learn/ webinars) to hotels to elevate digital knowledge
- Contributes to process improvements and program evolution
- Participates in internal initiatives and maintains documentation
- Team player, working smoothly and collaboratively with various internal team members
