Scope:
- Analyze AOI datasets (e.g., trigger rates, defect classification, review outcomes) to identify patterns and trends
- Identify high-impact contributors (e.g., package types, component families) driving AOI triggers and false calls
- Conduct structured root cause analysis on false trigger and misclassification scenarios
- Validate findings through data comparison, observation, and engineering analysis
- Develop improvement opportunities for AOI performance and inspection robustness
- Conceptualize methods to sustain improvements (e.g., standardization approaches or monitoring concepts)
Deliverables:
- Baseline analysis report summarizing AOI triggering behavior and false reject trends, including quantified impact areas
- Structured problem analysis documenting observations, root causes, and validation approach
- Identified improvement opportunities with supporting data analysis
- Proposed sustainment concept (e.g., framework for monitoring, checklist, or process standardization approach)
- Final project presentation summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations
Learning Objectives:
