AI - Data Scientist

As a data scientist (AI/ML Engineer), you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models and AI-driven solutions to support our finance and ERP systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, IT, and business analysts to automate processes, optimize data workflows, and create predictive models that improve financial reporting, forecasting, and decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the scalability, reliability, and accuracy of our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

AI/ML Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to automate financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and optimize ERP systems.

Automation: Implement intelligent automation solutions to streamline finance-related workflows, such as transaction processing, reconciliations, financial forecasting, and auditing.

Data Integration: Work with data engineers to integrate financial data from various sources (ERP, CRM, etc.) and ensure seamless flow of data into machine learning models.

Predictive Analytics: Build predictive models for financial forecasting, cash flow prediction, anomaly detection, and trend analysis to assist in strategic decision-making.

Process Optimization: Identify opportunities within the ERP system for process automation and optimization, utilizing AI/ML techniques for improved financial performance.

Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Model Evaluation: Continuously monitor the performance of AI/ML models and refine them for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Documentation & Reporting: Create clear documentation for models, data pipelines, and algorithms, and report on the impact of AI/ML solutions to leadership.

Research & Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest trends in AI/ML technologies and finance automation, bringing innovative ideas to the table for process improvement.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 2 years of experience working on finance or ERP systems.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R, SQL, etc.).\
• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model tuning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data storage technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, data lakes).
• Experience with AI-driven process automation and robotics (RPA) tools is a plus.
