Job Summary
We are seeking an analytical Lead Pricing Analyst with strong expertise in Deltek ProPricer to support pricing strategy, cost modeling, proposal development, and audit readiness in a government and commercial contracting environment. This high impact role is critical to York’s success in winning new contracts, and reports directly to the Director of Strategic Finance (CFO direct report). This role partners closely with various functions within York, including Business Development, to ensure accurate, compliant, and competitive pricing for manufacturing-focused government proposals. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of cost elements, FAR/DFARS requirements, and pricing best practices within a production-oriented setting.
This role will be fully on-site in our Greenwood Village office.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and validate cost and pricing models in ProPricer for proposals and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
Collaborate with Supply Chain to obtain cost inputs, BOM updates, supplier quotes, and material pricing.
Review and analyze direct labor, material, overhead, and other cost elements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support development of Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
Ensure pricing aligns with FAR/DFARS requirements and internal audit standards.
Support fact finding, negotiations, and audits as needed.
Partner cross-functionally to develop competitive and defensible pricing strategies.
Analyze historical cost data to drive pricing accuracy and forecasting improvements.
Prepare pricing reports, summaries, and models for leadership review.
Qualifications Required for the Role
Extensive hands‑on experience with ProPricer
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field.
Experience supporting government proposals (DoD, USSF, NASA, etc.).
Strong understanding of cost analysis, pricing structure, and government regulations (FAR/DFARS).
Preferred for the Role
Experience in a government‑contracting manufacturing company.
TS or TS/SCI clearance level
Familiarity with ERP systems used in manufacturing (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Deltek Costpoint).
Understanding of BOM structures, material pricing, or procurement processes.
Experience with proposal development tools or cost estimating systems.
