
[F&B] F&B Administrative Assistant
Job Description
POSITON SUMMARY
The F&B Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the Director of Food & Beverage, ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the department. This role acts as a key link between international leadership and the local Japanese team, facilitating clear and effective communication across cultures. The position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
The assistant will be responsible for managing schedules, organizing meetings, and preparing reports, while also handling the adaptation and translation of communications between English-speaking management and Japanese colleagues. Close collaboration with internal departments will be essential to maintain smooth information flow and alignment across teams.
In addition, the role will support budgeting processes, invoice tracking, and administrative documentation, as well as contribute to operational projects, audits, and other F&B initiatives.
A strong command of English, both written and spoken, is essential, along with native Japanese language skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an international or multicultural environment and demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and reliability. Familiarity with the hospitality or Food & Beverage industry is highly desirable. The role requires a proactive and independent approach, combined with cultural sensitivity and the ability to effectively bridge different working styles and expectations while respecting Japanese business practices.
