Job Description
RESPONSABILITIES:
Provide executive operations support to the Dean and Associate Deans of the College of Engineering and Science (COES), ensuring efficient coordination of priorities, initiatives, and daily operations.
Serve as a liaison among academic departments, administrative units, university stakeholders, and external partners to facilitate communication and collaboration.
Manage emails, correspondence, and general inquiries for the Dean’s Office in a professional and helpful manner.
Handle confidential and sensitive information related to personnel matters, college operations, and strategic initiatives while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
Coordinate complex calendars for the Dean and Associate Deans, including scheduling meetings, managing competing priorities, preparing materials for meetings, and arranging travel and special events.
Prepare and edit reports, presentations, correspondence, and other materials in support of college leadership and operations.
Support meetings and committees by preparing agendas, taking notes, and following up on action items.
Assist in making travel arrangements and processing other purchases as needed for Dean’s Suite.
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned in support of the Dean’s Office and COES.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree, vocational or technical school degree
Minimum 3–5 years of experience required in area of expertise
Learned knowledge and skills to support variety of routine tasks requiring some degree of difficulty.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report
The federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) requires colleges and universities, both public and private, participating in federal student aid programs to disclose campus safety information, and imposes certain basic requirements for handling incidents of sexual violence and emergency situations.
Florida Tech’s 2025 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Florida Tech; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
The numbers provided include crime statistics that were reported to local law enforcement agencies, campus security and other Campus Security Authorities.
The report also includes institutional policy statements regarding campus safety and security measures; descriptions of prevention and awareness programs; related university procedures and important guidance; and other essential safety information.

Official Transcripts
Official transcripts of all collegiate work must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Office of Human Resources prior to the first day of employment.
