Job Description

We are looking for an Azure Administrator with a strong focus on Security and Modern Workplace, to take ownership of the management and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, ensuring high standards of governance, protection, and business support.

This role requires autonomy, proven experience managing complex tenants, and a structured approach to security and end‑user support.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Tenant Management:

  • Administration of Azure / Microsoft 365 tenants
  • Definition and maintenance of policies, controls, and governance

Endpoint and Identity Management:

  • Administration of approximately 150 endpoints and identities (laptops, mobile devices, and user accounts)
  • Configuration and management using Intune and Autopilot

Cybersecurity and Service Provider Management:

  • Security management within the Microsoft ecosystem (Defender, policies, and controls)
  • Coordination and oversight of cybersecurity service providers

End‑User Support:

  • Technical support, incident resolution, and request handling

Physical Asset Management:

  • Management of approximately 120 computers
  • Monitoring warranties, repairs, and equipment lifecycle
  • 4 to 5 years of experience managing Azure / Microsoft 365 tenants
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, preferably in Cybersecurity,
    or a Professional Technical Higher Education diploma in IT / Cybersecurity
  • Proven experience as an Azure Administrator with security responsibilities
  • Mandatory certifications:
    • AZ‑900 / MS‑900 / SC‑900
    • AZ‑500
  • Strong technical expertise in Modern Workplace, including:
    • Azure AD (Entra ID)
    • Endpoint management with Intune and Autopilot
    • Endpoint protection with Microsoft Defender
    • Knowledge of SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Solid knowledge of security, accessibility, and governance best practices

Differentiating Factors:

  • Experience managing low‑complexity projects
  • ITIL training or certification

  • High level of autonomy, responsibility, and reliability
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Clear and effective communication with technical teams, suppliers, and end users
  • Strong focus on security, service quality, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multidisciplinary environments
  • Work model: On‑site (Lisbon, Amoreiras).
