Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Directly supervises Receiving, Returns, Replenishment, and Repack functions; assists other areas of warehouse operations as needed.
- Supervises the operational flow of all day shift activities by working directly with Area Lead.
- Utilizes SAP in order to streamline product handling as well as in order to maintain inventory integrity & accuracy. Collaborates with Evening Warehouse Supervisors as well as Inventory Control Team in order to properly align departmental issues, concerns, and needs as it relates to warehouse Inventory, Operational readiness, and process flow control.
- Advises and demonstrates to the teammates on care and preservation of items shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
- Complete reports as needed and communicate essential information to management and Evening Warehouse Supervisors.
- Supervises work processes in order to streamline efficiency and productivity.
- Supervises corrective actions needed to mitigate risk, safety, as well as inefficiency.
- Ensures all actions and processes are performed in a safe and orderly manner. Monitors safety of forklift operators and provides training and retraining as needed.
- Issues written and oral instructions.
- Conducts pre and post-shift inspection of the Warehouse.
- Takes part in monthly teammate round tables to alleviate issues and administer communication
- Utilizes Teammate Handbook as a guide, to aid in proper behavioral management of Teammates.
- Assists in the scheduling of work for special and periodic inventories.
- Trains and retrains teammates.
- Takes part in Teammate activities, meetings, newsletters, and any other Teammate focused events.
- Other duties as assigned by the AM Warehouse Manager.
Education and/or Experience
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some knowledge of warehouse software as well as basic Windows functions, i.e. SAP, KEA, Excel, and Word.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Forklift certification and other warehouse certifications as needed. Train-the-trainer certifications preferred.
