Position Description: RN – Med/Surg Surgical - Nights

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Medical/Surgical – Surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital - North.

The RN responsibilities include:

· Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

· Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

· Professional accountability and development.

· Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

· BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

· RN (Registered Nurse) license is required

· ACLS Certification, if required by department

· Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

Education:

· Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required

· Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience:

· 2 years of RN experience is required.

Shift Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
