As a Commissioning Engineer – Mechanical Completion, you will be part of our Quality & Commissioning team, ensuring that all mechanical systems and components are installed, inspected, and documented in accordance with project specifications, and are fully prepared for a smooth and structured transition into commissioning.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure all mechanical commissioning activities are carried out safely, with health and safety as the top priority for all stakeholders
- Develop and support project-specific Commissioning Implementation Plans and ensure alignment with commissioning requirements
- Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, and MEP installations to verify compliance with specifications, standards, and program requirements
- Maintain a full understanding of mechanical systems, ensuring installation progress aligns with project specifications, schedules, sequencing and LOTO/permit-to-work processes
- Manage coordination with contractors and vendors, including progress tracking, resource planning, reporting, and participation in project meetings
- Support commissioning execution and quality control activities, including QA/QC walkdowns, system checks, documentation review, and timely close-out of punch lists and outstanding items
Show your expertise
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical commissioning, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities
- Familiar with commissioning standards (ASHRAE, BSRIA, etc.)
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
