This position requires confined space entry and prolonged work in high-heat environments and is not suitable for individuals uncomfortable with extreme working conditions. Workers will be on a shutdown rotation, working 12 hours per day with overtime paid after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week in line with British Columbia employment standards.
- Work for extended periods inside confined spaces, including tanks and vessels
- Perform duties while wearing full PPE including Tyvek suit, full-face respirator, and rubber boots
- Safely complete work in hot, enclosed environments
- Maintain constant communication with attendants and supervisors during confined space operations
- Support shutdown timelines by completing assigned cleaning scopes on schedule
- Follow all client, site, and GrizzlyTrek safety policies without exception
- Participate in pre-job hazard assessments, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
- Must be physically able to fit through an 18-inch manway
- Must be capable of working in hot, confined spaces for long durations
- Ability to wear full PPE, including respiratory protection, for extended periods of time
- Strong physical endurance and mental resilience
- Willingness to live and work in a camp environment on a shutdown rotation
- Commitment to safe, respectful worksite behaviour
- Previous experience with confined space entry, tank cleaning, or industrial vacuum work
- Confined Space Entry, H2S Alive, First Aid, or related safety certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous shutdown or turnaround experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial settings

- Hourly wage of $28.00 with overtime after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week
