A. Operational Model 1. Steering the evaluation and agreement on the technical customer product requirements including normal conditions of use. 2. Responsible for the planning and achievement of the product release milestones and invitation to the review (responsible together with core team and management of the domain) 3. Responsible for the technical communication towards the customer(internal/external), incl. evaluation of technical changes/plausibility checks. 4. Coordinating and steering all fault and change management design activities between HELLA and the customer(internal/external 5. Leading the alignment w/ domains and teams as well as the team collaboration agreements 6. Steering the system integration planning to assure the product maturity development along the product engineering process and derive measures in terms of deviations 7. Steering the Test Strategy of the product in alignment with the system integration planning and overall Test Manager. 8. Assuring product functionality (incl. pushing ASIL conformity) against agreed requirements via testing results 9. Defining and planning technical risk management along the product development and drives this input to support the project manager 10. Focusing the cross functional alignment between all development domains of a system and its components 11. Executing of escalation to Management Change Control Board (CCB) and/or steering committee 12. Responsible regarding first escalation and decision level to solve technical conflicts. 13. Responsible for the technical Change Control and has the authority to decide, involving the global competence leader, technical solutions if decision cannot be made on domain level 14. Aligning the decisions with PJM according to the effects on Quality, Costs, Time (QCT) 15. Supporting project manager in terms of commercial change management 16. Optimization and further development of the process environment for process and efficiency enhancement B. Leadership 1.
