A Rental / Valet Agent serves as the primary face of our operations, managing vehicle logistics and delivering top-tier customer service. This hybrid role combines administrative rental processing with physical vehicle handling, vehicle detailing, and secure parking logistics.
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Rental Operations
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival to create a welcoming first impression.
- Process rental agreements using company software, verifying customer documentation.
- Explain rental policies, insurance coverage offerings, and payment terms clearly.
- Upsell complementary products such as premium vehicle upgrades, protection packages, and GPS units.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining daily financial logs.
Valet & Vehicle Logistics
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely in designated lots following all traffic laws.
- Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage, logging conditions before and after possession.
- Manage vehicle keys securely utilizing proper tagging and filing protocols.
- Perform visual checks on fluids, tire pressure, and fuel levels during handoffs.
- Coordinate lot traffic flow to prevent congestion in the service drive or drop-off lanes.
Vehicle Maintenance & Presentation
- Clean and detail vehicles internally and externally before every customer pickup.
- Fuel and gas vehicles fully prior to pickup and upon completion of drop-off.
- Verify service status to ensure vehicles are fully maintained before and after rentals.
- Sanitize touchpoints between rentals to maintain company health and safety standards.
- Stage vehicles in prominent checkout areas for upcoming customer pickups.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Experience & Licenses
- Valid driver's license with a thoroughly clean driving record is mandatory.
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles smoothly.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED certification.
- One year of customer service or hospitality experience is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong verbal communication to explain complex rental terms to diverse clients.
- Basic computer literacy to navigate point-of-sale systems and log inventory updates.
- Excellent time management to multitask efficiently during peak arrival hours.
- Basic mathematical skills to handle transactions and count cash without discrepancies.
Physical Demands
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods during a standard 8-hour shift.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, or extreme heat.
