Job Purpose

Are you an experienced harvester technician looking to step into a regional technical and training role where your expertise genuinely matters?

 

We are seeking a Service Technical & Training Specialist – Harvesters to support dealer technicians, improve product performance, and deliver technical training across Australia and New Zealand.

 

This role is designed for someone with strong hands‑on harvester experience who wants to support, train and uplift dealer technicians across the ANZ region - with travel that is structured and primarily focused on training delivery.

 

This is a hands‑on, senior technical role suited to someone with deep harvester experience who enjoys solving complex problems, supporting others, and contributing to product improvements at a regional level.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be the technical escalation point for harvester products, with a strong focus on grape, forage, and sugarcane harvesters.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support dealer technicians with advanced remote and structured diagnosis of complex harvester issues
  • Identify and track emerging product concerns, escalating through established processes to support timely and proactive resolution
  • Provide detailed product performance feedback and contribute to market reporting and Product Improvement Programs
  • Develop and deliver structured technical training programs for dealer technicians across Australia and New Zealand
  • Travel primarily for scheduled training delivery, with additional dealer visits, field days and selected customer engagements to reinforce learning and strengthen technical capability in the field
  • Collaborate closely with field teams, product specialists and dealers to continuously improve harvester support outcomes

Experience Required

This role is best suited to someone who already has strong technical credibility in harvesters.

You will bring:

 

  • Strong hands‑on experience with agricultural machinery, ideally specialising in harvesters
  • At least 3 years’ experience diagnosing and repairing major machine systems:
    • Engines
    • Hydraulics
    • Transmissions
    • Final drives & differentials
  • Proven ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and confidence working independently
  • Strong analytical ability to research, consolidate, and present technical information
  • Willingness to travel across the ANZ region
  • Solid MS Office skills; presentation or training experience is a strong advantage
