Colton RV & Marine is hiring an RV Driver/Transporter to assist with moving, delivering, and staging RVs across our locations. Essential Functions:
- Move RV inventory of varying size safely between locations
- Use smartphone app to report status of moves
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of Company vehicles and property
- Perform Pre-Trip inspections
- Be familiar with DOT Regulations
- Deliver, level, and hook up RV’s at campsites
- Move vehicles to maintain flow of traffic
- Communicate with supervisor and other dealership staff effectively and efficiently
- Drive/Pull inventory to and from Dealerships, Campgrounds, Customers, and Other Locations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
Education, Experience and Work Requirements:
· High School diploma or GED
· Valid Driver’s License with a clean, insurable, driving record
· Pre-employment background check, including drug screening
Physical Requirements
• May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
• Periods of standing, walking the lot/shop, bending, and stooping
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Verifiable Experience driving RVs/campers preferred (5th wheel, bumper pull, Class-A, Class-C, etc.)
· CDL A/B or R Endorsement required
· DOT Medical Certificate required
· Perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
· Must be able to prioritize moves in order of importance
· Must be a self-starter
