At PwC, our purpose is clear: to build trust in society and solve important problems.

This is a place to keep growing. You’ll learn from the best, take on meaningful challenges, and make a lasting impact for our clients, our communities, and Aotearoa.

Ngā Kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role

PwC New Zealand is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to join our dynamic Customer Transformation team in Pōneke / Wellington. This role is ideal for someone with a strong Salesforce background who also brings broader enterprise technology experience across integration, cloud and digital platforms.

You'll combine hands-on technical expertise with delivery leadership, working closely with architects, developers and engineering teams while engaging confidently with business stakeholders to deliver complex transformation programmes. You'll understand front-office business processes, be comfortable navigating technical discussions, and ensure solutions are practical, scalable and aligned with client objectives.

As a trusted technical leader, you'll bridge the gap between business and technology - providing architectural guidance, leading delivery teams, managing technical risks, and helping clients achieve lasting business outcomes through technology.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce and enterprise technology transformation programmes, ensuring successful outcomes for clients.
  • Deliver scalable integration solutions between Salesforce and enterprise systems using modern APIs and integration patterns.
  • Provide delivery estimates and technical oversight across Salesforce, integration and broader technology solutions.
  • Drive engineering culture, bridging the gap between business requirements and high quality engineering disciplines.
  • Provide technical leadership across multiple client engagements, guiding delivery teams, removing roadblocks, and ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Apply Salesforce best practices while considering the broader enterprise architecture and technology landscape.
  • Build trusted client relationships by providing strategic technical advice throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements and contribute to new business opportunities.
  • Ensure all PwC delivery methodologies, governance and risk requirements are met throughout project delivery.
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve delivery efficiency, quality and consistency.
  • Mentor and coach consultants and technical team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Stay current with Salesforce capabilities, integration technologies and broader digital transformation trends to drive innovation for our clients.

Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience

  • Proven experience leading the delivery of complex Salesforce and enterprise technology programmes.
  • Strong Salesforce platform knowledge, with experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud. Salesforce certifications are highly regarded.
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions using APIs, middleware, and modern integration patterns.
  • Broad understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, and customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to engage credibly with architects, developers and engineering teams while translating technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within Agile and hybrid delivery environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • Commercial acumen, with experience contributing to proposals, estimations and business development activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve delivery efficiency, enhance customer experiences, accelerate solution development, and create greater value for clients.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring others and fostering high-performing teams.
