GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Provide administrative support for the Department of Medical Education.
Responsibilities include meeting coordination/scheduling/minutes, ordering and managing supplies, document filing and organization, data entry, and other
administrative duties as needed. The ability to work independently as well as
part of a team, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.

• Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adheres to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
• Performs daily office functions - phones, e-mail, typing, transcribing, photocopying, filing, faxing, sorting and distribution of mail.
• Utilizes strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Responsible for coordinating Thank a Resident Day, Research Nigh, QI Symposium, senior dinner and assisting with the coordination of special events such as Resident Graduation, Workshops, orientation and Resident Recruitment.
• Assists with document management for Medical Education and ongoing maintenance of files.
• Responsible for preparing and/or assisting with the preparation of the Residency Program, Medical Education, IRB and Library department budgets.
• Primary support for the Clinical Competency Committee, including preparing resident evaluations, meeting minutes, and sending out completed CCC reports
• Responsible for resident academic tracking including monitoring of AMBOSS, PREP, ITE scores, etc.
• Responsible for Huddle and GMEC agenda, minutes and meeting invites
• Responsible for Mid and End of Year Review prep and scheduling
• Data entry into electronic data management systems such as residency online programs to manage tracking and curriculum
• Assists with scheduling meetings with internal and external attendees and coordinating logistics as needed.
• General secretarial support for Medical Education and the Residency Program, both in Corpus Christi and remotely for RGV.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
