Job Description:
Designs, develops, codes, and tests digital signal processing algorithms, solutions, and system models.
Responsible for the development of physical systems to support digital signal processing in compliance with external specifications.
Researches and develops DSP algorithm specifications for emerging technologies and products and contributes to the standardization and definition of such techniques with external standard bodies.
Research and adoption of machine learning and other AI applications to improve performance and user experience.
Defines algorithm blocks, performs algorithm tuning and validation, and creates novel ideas to meet system requirements.
Creates prototypes of the algorithm and optimizes the design for power and performance goals in different stages of product development.
Runs DSP algorithms simulation using advanced simulation tools while performing basic trade-offs on power, die size, and performance.
Develops validation test plans and writes scripts to assist validation of algorithm implementation into the larger system. Implements DSP primitives and subsystems in RTL.
Defines and documents system and component requirements for algorithm performance based on system requirements.
Root causes and troubleshoots algorithm performance issues.
Collaborates with digital architecture designers to translate models to hardware design and various stakeholders to develop the technical roadmap with the latest industry best practices and innovative solutions for the future.
Recognized as a domain expert who influences and drives technical direction across Intel and industry.
Develops and mentors other technical leaders, grows the community, acts as a change agent, and role models Intel values.
Aligns organizational goals with technical vision, formulates technical strategy to deliver leadership solutions, and demonstrates a track record of relentless execution in bringing products and technologies to market.
