Job Responsibility and key Decisions
Strategic Planning IBP Leadership
Owns and governs the Integrated Business Planning IBP process across all functions commercial, manufacturing, regulatory, finance, and supply chain.
Leads monthly executive IBP reviews, facilitating key business decisions on demand, inventory, and capacity tradeoffs.
Sets longterm planning strategies aligned with portfolio evolution, geographic expansion, and market dynamics.
Demand Planning Oversight
Establishes global demand planning policies, standards, and performance targets.
Drives accuracy improvement initiatives and adoption of predictive analytics.
Manages integration of product lifecycle events launches, discontinuations into the demand plan.
Inventory Strategy Governance
Defines inventory policy frameworks based on product criticality, lead time variability, and market importance.
Oversees global inventory health, including obsolescence, expiry, and writeoff management.
Balances inventory to support customer service levels, product availability, and working capital objectives.
Stakeholder Functional Alignment
Works closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, QAQC, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, and Finance to align plans and execution.
Ensures product availability during new launches, regulatory changes, recalls, or disruptions.
Provides executivelevel visibility to supply risks, mitigation strategies, and demandsupply gaps.
Organizational Leadership Capability Building
Leads a department of planners, analysts, and managers develops future talent pipeline.
Drives crosstraining, SOP standardization, and best practice adoption across planning functions.
Champions diversity, inclusion, and highperformance culture.
Risk Management Compliance
Oversees supply risk assessments and builds supply continuity strategies for highriskcritical products.
Ensures compliance with GDPGMP, cold chain integrity, and regulatory audits relating to inventory and planning practices.
Key Decisions Handled
Final authority on demand forecast signoff before executive approval.
Approval of global inventory policies and productspecific stockholding strategies.
Resolution of planning escalations involving shortages, regulatory constraints, or crossmarket conflicts.
Direction of inventory provisioning for financial reconciliation.
Decisions on digital tool investments, planning team structure, and capability priorities.
