Job Description
Coulson Aviation is a global aerial firefighting company that operates in Canada, the USA, Australia, and Chile. We operate with a fleet of large aerial firefighting aircraft consisting of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. With our fleet, we can run rapid aerial fire suppression, including initial attack and extended attack protocols.
Due to our company growth and expanding footprint, we are seeking a full-time Construction worker to add to our team.
This role is centered around general construction and multi-skilled labor, supporting a wide range of tasks such as concrete forming, framing and finishing.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Preform general carpentry work including framing, repairs, concrete forming, and interior finishing.
- Install, tape, mud, and sand drywall.
- Prepare surfaces and apply paint, stain, or coatings.
- Coordinate and maintain tools, materials, and equipment.
- Follow directions and communicate effectively with supervisors to ensure safety.
- Preform work independently with minimal supervision.
- Provide guidance and mentorship for coworkers.
- Confident, energetic, and passionate about their trade.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in construction, carpentry, drywall, or painting.
- Red seal carpenter preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical preferred.
- Experience with exterior building envelope, window installations and roofing preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects over 30lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong knowledge of general construction skills such as power tools, techniques, and safe practice.
- Reliability and punctuality.
