Role Description:
We are looking for a SW QA Engineer
You will report to the Director of System Integration & QA, Broadband business unit.
Location:
Hybrid role – working at least 3 days a week from our office in Bangalore.
What you will be doing:
Test multidisciplinary Embedded Systems (SW/HW).
Responsibility for features’ testing starting from integration till end-to-end functional testing.
Define clear test plans that cover all use cases and scenarios.
Execute testing to verify functional behavior of the products and to ensure their quality in an Agile environment.
Work in scrum team in agile mode.
Execute automatic tests using existing framework and analyze the results.
Provide requirements for automatic tests.
What you will need to succeed:
2-3 years of experience in manual testing of an Embedded System (HW/SW)
Experience in QA methodologies
Linux knowledge
B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar field, or an equivalent experience
Networking knowledge (Layer 3) - advantage
Knowledge of RF testing equipment, traffic generators, network sniffer - advantage
Python or other scripting knowledge, experience in test scripts execution – advantage
DOCSIS / PON (Passive Optical Network) knowledge - advantage
Agile working methods – advantage
