Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Account Executive, Business Development to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of Revenue for Player 15 Group with a primary focus on the Phoenix Mercury, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.
Your role on the team:
Proactively generate new membership and ticket revenue across all Player 15 Group properties through outbound sales efforts including phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and in-person presentations.
Consistently exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and sales activity minimum standards.
Provide best-in-class service throughout the sales process by effectively communicating product value, handling objections, and setting up clients for long-term success.
Attend games and events to host prospects, conduct in-person appointments, and create upsell opportunities.
Support department-wide initiatives that contribute to continuous improvement, sales culture, and innovation in membership strategy.
Other duties as assigned.
Your Skills and Experience:
Demonstrate success in outbound sales environments with a high level of daily activity and persistence.
Coachable and open to feedback, with a strong desire for continuous improvement and professional growth.
Highly process-driven with the ability to follow established sales workflows and pipeline management practices.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging prospects via phone, email, and in-person.
Competitive mindset paired with a team-oriented attitude and resilience in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
High school diploma or GED
Bachelor’s degree in business, Sports Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
1+ year(s) experience in a dedicated outbound sales position, preferably within the sports and entertainment industry
