Job Description

Job Title: Digital Marketing & Media Specialist Are you passionate about using digital marketing and communications to make a positive impact in the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The Arc of San Diego is seeking a dedicated and creative Digital Marketing & Media Specialist to join our diverse team. As the Digital Marketing & Media Specialist, you will play a vital role in increasing awareness and interest in The Arc of San Diego and its programs. We are looking for an individual who can effectively leverage digital platforms to tell our story, engage our community, and drive support for our mission. By creating and implementing innovative digital marketing strategies, you will connect with diverse audiences in the San Diego community and demonstrate our commitment to empowering individuals to lead fulfilling and independent lives. Pay: The salary for this position is $77,170 to $77,170. Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., some weekend and evening availability required Location: San Diego (onsite position) Who you are:  A dynamic professional who combines technical expertise with a creative mindset.   Expert who leverages your in-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and social media platforms to craft strategies that resonate with audiences. Able to multitask and juggle multiple requests and projects in a fast-paced environment.   A typical day will include:  Developing, implementing, and monitoring digital marketing campaigns. Developing social media content calendars and marketing plans. Engageing with our online followers. Writing articles for printed and digital newsletters. Creating visually appealing marketing materials like brochures, flyers, and fact sheets. Creating videos to showcase the success of our clients What you’ll need to be successful:  Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations or a related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in designing and executing marketing and communications plans, as well as hands-on experience and proven results employing social media tools, including SEO and Google Analytics.  We’d love it if you:  Exhibit a passion for staying updated on the latest industry trends. Have experience managing and growing social media communities. Have creativity to conceptualize captivating content and innovative campaign ideas.
