We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner for Amazon EMEA to drive HR excellence in this dynamic tech environment. You'll collaborate with business leaders to execute HR strategies that support business goals and enhance employee experience, while leading Pan-EMEA strategic projects with senior stakeholder exposure. The ideal candidate is a data-driven HR professional with strong leadership abilities and experience in global team collaboration. You'll partner on strategic initiatives, optimize HR programs, and ensure alignment with labor relations and HR policies. Success requires business acumen, executive coaching capability, superior communication skills, and strategic thinking. Must excel at managing competing priorities and making sound decisions in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This is a high-impact role where you can truly make a difference for our customers.
Key job responsibilities
• Serve as a trusted advisor to AWS EMEA Leadership Team, providing strategic HR guidance
• Ensure excellent employee relations and compliance with local labor laws
• Analyze business unit data to drive performance, retention, and employee experience improvements
• Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and succession management initiatives
• Collaborate with talent acquisition teams on hiring, retention, and internal talent development
• Provide coaching to business leaders to grow their leadership capabilities
• Partner with other HR professionals in EMEA and globally to exchange best practices and ensure consistent delivery of best in class service to AWS business
• Contribute beyond local remit, adding value to the broader business and HR team
• Execute business-critical EMEA and global HR projects
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 20% of the time)

Together this team of HR specialists and HRBPs develops cross-cutting programs and delivers localized solutions to meet customer-specific requirements. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of the fastest-growing and profitable business segments within Amazon. As the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, AWS is disrupting the traditional
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in an HR generalist, management, or business partner role
- Experience partnering with senior leaders to deliver results
- Experience analyzing HR metrics and using data insights to drive business decisions
- Experience in talent management, organizational network analysis, and organizational design and development
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases and organizational change initiatives
- High proficiency in English
- Master's degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, influencing strategy, and achieving goals by working across the organization
- Knowledge of national and local employment laws and regulations
- Experience translating business strategy and goals into optimal HR processes that are scalable, simple, customer-focused and adaptable to unique and changing business needs
- Experience with one or more analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent European certification)
- Experience with a global technology company, preferably in cloud computing or enterprise software
