Job Description
We are currently seeking Vintage Cellar Hands to help us through the exciting and fast-paced 2026 Harvest season. As part of our 2026 Harvest team, you'll have the opportunity to work across our two production facilities, processing approximately 2500 tonnes of grapes. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team for an exciting and hands-on experience in premium wine production. These roles are based out of Trius Estate Winery and Thirty Bench Winemakers, located in the Niagara, Ontario.
As a Vintage Cellar Hand, you will be part of our dynamic harvest team at Trius Winery. This is a seasonal role that requires full availability for 6 days a week, working 8 hours/day (12 at peak harvest) on day or night shifts. The Harvest season runs from late August to mid-November, with actual dates to be confirmed. The role requires availability for a Day or Night shift for the duration of the harvest. During this time, you will assist in various tasks across the Crush Pad, Cellars, and Barrel Cellar.
What this teammate will be responsible for -
Operate equipment on the Crush Pad and in the Cellars to press grapes and clarify juice.
Make material additions to juice/wine blends.
Racking, transferring, and blending wine/juice.
Perform Punch Downs, Pump Overs, Barrel Work, and Fermentation Monitoring.
Clean and sanitize process equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

What this teammate will bring -
Previous vineyard or harvest experience is an asset.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload efficiently.
Basic understanding of premium wine production and wine analysis.
Strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain an organized workplace.
Good problem-solving abilities, dependable, and hands-on.
Strong communication skills and ability to work safely with co-workers.
Ability to lift in excess of 22 kg (48lbs) regularly.
