Role Overview
Savills is seeking a Junior Economist or Economist to join its London-based Market Assessment Sub Group, supporting the assessment of commercial development needs across sectors including industrial & logistics, data centres, hotels, offices and other commercial uses.
This role will involve analysing data, interpreting policy and delivering robust economic evidence to support Local Plan promotions, planning applications, Appeals and Public Inquiries. You will also contribute to advising clients on where to acquire sites, using a data-driven approach and industry-leading analytical tools.

Team Overview
The Savills Economics team is a leading UK consultancy providing property, economic and social analysis to support public funding bids, planning decisions and development strategies. The team delivers Treasury Green Book–compliant business cases, market and impact assessments, strategic economic research, and low‑carbon and environmental economics. Their work spans major regeneration, infrastructure and town centre projects nationwide, drawing on close collaboration with Savills’ planning, development, research and sustainability teams.
