Job Description
Functional Responsibility: The Data Support Specialist will support will work closely with their teammates and the NSF Program staff to input critical data into NSF systems and databases to assign proposals to ad hoc reviewers and panels, to disseminate passwords and travel orders to confirmed panelists and to process proposals electronically in support of the overall NSF peer review process. Coordinate with TIP Data team and operations staff to ensure database systems essential to the management and tracking of the TIP programs are updated and maintained in a timely manner to ensure availability and currency of data for analysis and reporting; and develop and maintain SOPs and checklists for all E-Business support activities. Maintain a SharePoint or MS Teams site for the Section's documents, calendars, policies,
travel, and procedures. In addition, the Data Processing Specialist provides other administrative services upon request, including supporting small and medium sized meetings, tracking tasks and deliverables in SharePoint or MS Teams, and corresponding with external
stakeholders via telephone and email. Track pitch, proposal and award recommendations, travel expenses; generate statistical documents as required by various constituencies; and gather, format and consolidate data from multiple sources for program analysis and
information sharing.
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to pass a Background Check
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in data & Analytics, Information Systems, or relevant field
Minimum/General Experience: 2 years of business systems and data analytics experience
