About the Role:
As a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play an important role in keeping our business moving by ensuring payments are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. You’ll be more than just a processor of transactions. You’ll serve as a trusted resource for our teams, build strong vendor relationships, and help create smooth, reliable financial processes that support the work happening across the organization.
You’ll join a collaborative Finance team where organization, attention to detail, and a team first mindset are valued. We’re looking for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, solving problems, and finding satisfaction in making sure the details are done right. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in our Franklin, TN office.

In this role, you will…
- Review and process high- volume invoices vendor invoices and payments in accordance with internal accounting policies and procedures
- Review purchase orders, pricing, and payment terms to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies before they become issues
- Review statements and invoices to verify amounts owed and ensure timely payment processing
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to quickly resolve payment questions and discrepancies
- Reconcile processed transactions by reviewing entries and comparing system reports against balance
- Serve as a resource for the Accounts Payable team by offering support, sharing knowledge, and helping train team members
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies that help the team operate more effectively
