Job Description
The Technology Solutions team ensures consistency across geographies, with primary focus on the assigned regional business portfolio. This role will participate in team calls and training to ensure that they are in synch with the methods, process, and best practices in use by the other regions as well as support and/or assist Sales support activities in assigned regions. In addition, this individual will have expert knowledge of application development processes related to change control, enhancement and releases and provide inputs to the development teams that follow the agreed upon processes and are aligned and prioritized together with the other regions.
Working with the commercial product owners and capability leaders to identify technology solutions to meet business and financial objectives. The Technology Solutions team will drive the development of the strategic application roadmap and deliverables working with the architecture and development teams.
Customer Facing Responsibilities:
· Pre-Sales Support – RFI/RFP Preparation, Presentation Preparation, Solution Strategy etc.
· Sales Support – Collaboration with product owner and sales leads to create technology solutions pitch to customers, perform application demonstrations in support of the sales process and requirements discovery.
· Post-Sales Support – Requirements discovery, documentation, and solution design collaboration with business and technical teams (Scope of Work, Business Requirements Documentation etc.)
· Implementation Support – Identifying and validating IT business solutions to meet customers’ implementation requirements. Collaboration with IT, Customer Support and Operations. Assist in setup and training.
· Post Implementation Support – key/strategic account support for new technology requirements and solution design.
· Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
· Provide feedback on application releases and rollouts.
· Channel customer feedback/needs into technology capability roadmap
Technology Product Management Responsibilities:
· Be the lead solution architect for the platform, guiding technical direction and architectural decisions.
· Participate in solutioning meetings to ensure adherence to core principles and best practices.
· Drive platform governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Ensure new feature knowledge is cascaded to relevant teams and stakeholders.
· Actively participate in BY Network communities to stay current and share insights.
· Document and promote data usage standards across the platform.
· Ensure all implementations align with and support the overall product strategy.
· Determine investment opportunities based on business and financial objectives.
· Create and manage technology capabilities roadmap and prioritization
· Alignment with platform administrators in other regions to ensure consistency of process and adherence to standards.
· Identify technology solutions to meet business and financial objectives.
· Ensure alignment with company’s maxims and enterprise technology standards.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, supply chain engineering, or supply chain logistics.
· Minimum 5 years of well-rounded technology, logistics operations, and customer-facing experience.
· Hands-on experience of administrating Transport Management Systems.
· Practical knowledge of BlueYonder suite of logistics products, especially BY Network (formerly OneNetwork).
· Fluent in English
· Additional fluency in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Spanish, French, Italian, or German
· Experience working in a global environment.
· Good working knowledge of logistics operations.
· Financial and technology acumen regarding product development.
· Strong organization, time management and creative problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in using Monday.com for project management.
· Expertise in Visio for process mapping.
· Strong skills in requirements gathering.
· Experience in implementation processes.
· Great written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong communication skills to support and defend engineering recommendations.
· Strong public speaking skills to prepare and deliver oral presentations internally and with customer teams.
· Good leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel.
