Regional Clinical Director

Centers Health Care is looking for a Regional Clinical Director to oversee clinical operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities in Upstate New York. The Regional Clinical Director will provide leadership, mentorship, and support to Directors of Nursing and facility teams, ensuring compliance, quality outcomes, and excellence in resident care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor Directors of Nursing, clinical leaders, and nursing staff across assigned facilities

• Monitor and support compliance with DOH regulations, infection control, and survey readiness

• Partner with Facility Administrators and Regional executives to address challenges and implement best practices

• Conduct facility evaluations and create corrective action plans when necessary

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of clinical leadership staff

• Provide clinical expertise and serve as a resource for problem-solving and mentorship

• Travel regularly across facilities in the Upstate NY region

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York

• Minimum 5 years of nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care

• At least 2 years of regional or multi-facility leadership strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of NY DOH regulations, survey process, and clinical compliance

• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and influence clinical teams

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to travel frequently (day and overnight) across assigned region
