
Sales & Marketing - Corporate Executive (Business Travel)
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the guidance of Director of Business Travel / Assistant Director of Business Travel / Sales Manager, assist the team in Special Corporate business segment. Handle all administrative work of their respective managers.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Diploma in Hospitality or Business/Management
- Able to communicate clearly in English with guests/clients and hotel personnel confidently and accurately
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Desirable:
- Previous experience in hospitality industry; preferably a luxury hotels
- Aptitude to do proactive sales
- Degree in Hospitality or Business/Management
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
1) Administrative (65%)
- Prepare proposals and contracts as directed by the respective Director of Business Travel (DOBT) / Assistant Director of Business Travel (ADOBT) and Sales Manager (SM) in the approved correspondence format
- Check availability of guestrooms, meeting space and restaurants and block the space accordingly
- Raise catering leads/ group booking forms and copy to all concerned departments
- Attend weekly Business Travel meeting, monthly sales and marketing meetings and other meetings when required
- Co-ordinate and execute special projects as and when assigned
- Co-ordinate production reports to be given to respective clients
- Complete and submit Business Travel Pricing/RFPs as given by respective DOBT / ADOBT / SM
- Prepare reports as directed by respective DOBT / ADOBT / SM
- Filing of Correspondences directed by respective DOBT / ADOBT / SM
- Maintenance of Sales & Marketing collateral and assets
2) Sales (25%)
- Energizes all Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards and ensures department implementation
- Assist with qualifying new account/new business opportunities
- Handle phone inquiries or requests on Meetings/Seminars/Conferences/Catering and Room reservations
- Conduct hotel inspection in the absence of the sales managers
- Follow up with the clients as directed by respective DOBT / ADOBT / SM
- Work closely with Business Travel team to achieve Special Corporate segment goals
