Job Description
- Lead the month-end closure process, ensuring timely completion of books and effective coordination with Business Finance, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) teams.
- Prepare complete financial statements for the entity and present financial results to internal stakeholders with clarity and actionable insights.
- Review and ensure accurate calculation of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provisions (Ind AS 109) in alignment with the entity’s underlying credit risk, in collaboration with the Risk team.
- Develop and prepare accounting entries for new or complex transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain strong working knowledge and application of Ind AS 109 (Financial Instruments) and Ind AS 115 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers), with a particular focus on ECL.
- Prepare and file all mandatory RBI returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Act as a subject-matter expert on RBI guidelines for NBFCs, including Digital Lending Guidelines and Scale-Based Regulations (SBR), ensuring accurate interpretation and implementation.
- Collaborate closely with the Compliance team to ensure closure of all RBI compliance-related matters.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Internal, Tax, and Statutory auditors, ensuring timely and successful audit completion.
- Work with the Secretarial team for quarterly Board Meetings, setting agendas and ensuring all statutory and regulatory resolutions are appropriately passed.
- Monitor and report all related-party transactions (RPTs), and update the omnibus approval list as new transactions arise.
- Participate in the preparation of the quarterly Board Deck for both the Audit Committee and the Board.
- Present liquidity risk and key business performance metrics to the ALCO (Asset Liability Committee).
- Partner with the Treasury team by providing necessary financial data for fund-raising activities and addressing lender queries and requirements.
Experties and Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related fields

CA qualification is mandatory

Minimum 3 years of experience in an NBFC (preferred)

Strong knowledge of RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs

Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
