Production Procurement Operator

Position Objective Responsible for acquiring materials and documents to fulfill requests for purchases, including preparing purchase orders and handling inquiries about orders. Follows through with purchase from order placement to fulfillment and ensures order arrives undamaged and on time. Ordering of all Emblems. Specific Responsibilities Examining departmental purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy necessary to support the buying process Seeing that POs are issued, shipped, and received on a timely basis Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases Various Ad-hoc requests supporting the Center Led Procurement process Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Acute sense of urgency, excellent customer service skills and demeanor Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented Strong command of Microsoft Word and Excel; MS Access a plus Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures Education Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Business Administration Experience Experienced with supplier management The position would require 0-2 years of experience Location: Cincinnati, OH   Benefits: Vestis offers a wide array of comprehensive benefit programs and services, including medical, dental, vision, and pension. The estimated pay range for this role is $20/hour based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. Actual compensation may vary. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.
