Paid Nurse Aide Training
Job Description
Responsibilities
We are happy to announce the Genesis HealthCare partnership with the Dartmouth Health Apprenticeship Program, which was designed to create a sustainable pipeline of Licensed Nursing Assistants - LNAs through apprenticeship positions. These paid positions offer structured training, mentorship, and hands-on experience while students complete the requirements necessary to become certified LNAs.
Unlike a traditional nursing center-based staffing model, apprentices hired through this program will be employed with the understanding that they will support multiple nursing centers located nearby vs. a single nursing center. This will provide for a more diverse learning experience with different environments, leadership teams, patient populations, and care delivery practices all of which will help accelerate development and confidence as caregivers.
