Job Description

Position Overview:
  • 3-5 years of Splunk experience
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Splunk administrator solving problems
  • Handles common requests and tasks
  • Interacts with large user base

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with users experiencing Splunk problems
  • Work on tickets and ITMs for Splunk issues
  • Conduct screen-sharing support sessions
  • Perform log onboarding into Splunk
  • Configure ServiceNow and alerts
  • Adjust cron expressions to reduce SVC usage
  • Review internal audit logs
  • Solve problems by correlating documentation and critical thinking

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience solving Splunk problems in operational support
  • Ability to work directly with end users
  • Fluent in English
  • Available during Eastern Standard hours (9-5)
  • Data analysis skills
  • Medium SPL knowledge
  • Ability to write semi-complicated queries
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Splunk Power User or Admin certification
  • 5 years total IT experience
  • 3 years in operational support role
  • Hands-on Splunk administrator experience
  • Basic ServiceNow knowledge
