Mountain Brook Dental Care is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Full -Time Dental Assistant to support our clinical team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
Schedule:
Mondays - Thursday 6:45am - 5:00pm
Hourly Rate: Commensurate with experience
Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience and supporting clinical efficiency. We're looking for someone who is proactive, professional, and ready to contribute to a high-performing team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Preferred 6 months - 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred (Externships not included)
Proficient in chairside assisting and 4-handed dentistry
Strong working knowledge of general dentistry procedures
Familiarity with OSHA and HIPAA regulations and a strong commitment to patient safety
Accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation per office protocols
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure patient comfort and reduce anxiety
Ability to anticipate the dentist’s needs and contribute to efficient, quality-driven procedures
Demonstrated ability to take diagnostic-quality x-rays efficiently
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
