Director of Accounting

Reporting to the Vice President of Accounting, the Director of Accounting for this $350M+ Association serves as both a strategic leader and a senior technical practitioner within a lean, high-impact operating model for the Association’s accounting function. This role is responsible for the integrity of financial reporting, including the precise recording of revenue and expenses for the Association, with a special emphasis on the complex government contracts, grants, and capital projects. The Director of Accounting oversees the organization’s financial risk framework across all funding levels, maintains robust internal controls, and co-leads the annual audit process.
