Role Overview
As an Operations Support Specialist, you will provide hands-on support for facility operations, infrastructure systems, and audiovisual (AV) technology across multiple departments. You will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity by supporting building systems, coordinating vendors, and ensuring AV and technical equipment are functioning effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Support facility operations, including coordination with contractors and vendors
- Assist with maintenance and oversight of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
- Provide hands-on support for audiovisual (AV) systems, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Support device and systems access across departments and programs
- Assist with operational needs for clinical, education, and meeting spaces
- Coordinate logistics and technical support for events and departmental activities
- Maintain communication with internal teams, leadership, and external partners
- Monitor equipment functionality and escalate issues as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
🎓 Education – Required
- Associate’s degree in a related field
Experience
- Required: 2 years of operations experience
- Required: 2 years of audiovisual (AV) or technical support experience
- OR 4 years of relevant technical or facilities experience in lieu of degree
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Working knowledge of facility infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems)
- Experience with audiovisual systems, equipment setup, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with technical systems support, device management, and infrastructure operations
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
